ONE rucksack for ALL LAN stuff
Do you have problems to bring all you need to LAN-parties? Is it
much
to carry and you are afraid of damaging the screen and other things?
Isn’t it possible to take all you need on the bus, subway or train?
Or do you have to go twice to get everything?
Perhaps you are tired of driving someone to and from LAN parties, at odd
times and often with short notice?
Then Hacksac is what you need!
Hacksac is a specially designed rucksack making it possible to transport the
computer, flat screen, keyboard, mouse, cables and other components
needed for LAN parties, and you will have your hands free to carry other
things.
No other rucksack in the world makes it possible to easily transport a complete stationary/desktop computer with all compo-
nents.

Hacksac is a new and unique construction and design, protected by OHIM (EU).
With Hacksac you can transport everything you need to and from LAN parties on trains, busses, trams, subway or other public
transportation. You can also use it on bicycle or moped.
When you don’t use Hacksac, it takes very little space with a weight of less than 1kg.
This is the way Hacksac work
Hacksac consist of two compartments; One big compartment closest to the back for the computer, and one for the screen.
You place the computer in the big compartment. The keyboard can then either be placed on top of the computer or next to it,
depending on the computer size. The screen is placed upside-down in the rear compartment with the ‘picture’-side towards the
computer. By placing it this way, the sensitive surface of the screen will be covered by the side of the computer and thereby
protected.
Other equipment like mouse, mouse pad, cables, phones or small speakers are placed in the screen compartment behind the screen.
To strap the computer and screen together, two 25mm wide straps are used. These two straps are sewn to the shoulder straps why
no weight rests on the fabric.
The shoulder straps are padded, adjustable and have two snap locks.
The cover is adjustable with two straps, snap locks and two adhesive bands on the sides. This makes it possible to cover different
sizes of computers, screens and keyboards with the cover.
What can Hacksac hold?
The size of the computer compartment is 46 x 45 x 22cm (WxHxD). If the computer doesn’t
fit standing, it is often possible to rotate it 90 degrees to make it fit.
The screen compartment is triangular, width 46cm, but can hold screens up to 50cm,
(20 or 22”, depending on screen format).
Keyboard: The keyboard on the pictures is 46cm wide. If the keyboard is wider,
there is a risk that it will not be possible to close the adhesive bands on the
sides of Hacksac.
Mouse, cables, phones and other smaller things can be placed behind the screen.
Isn’t it heavy?
The total weight will of course be the total weight of all components and the
weight of Hacksac.
With a “normal” computer and screen it will not feel so
heavy since the weight rest on your shoulders.
However, it can be difficult to take Hacksac directly from the floor to your shoulders.
It is easier if you pack Hacksac on a table and then just bend your knees when youput it on.
If you use Hacksac on a moped, a trick to get less weight on your shoulders while driving,
is to extend the shoulder straps a bit until the weight rests on the seat behind.

What’s so smart about the construction?
The new thing with Hacksac is that the whole weight of the computer and screen is
carried by the two straps. This means that the fabric will not be damaged by the weight
of the computer and screen.
The straps around the computer and screen are designed for up to 400kg each, and the thick
part of the shoulder straps for much more.
Another thing is that the SAME straps hold the computer and screen fixed together.
This means both that the sensitive side of the screen is protected by being placed
against the flat side of the computer, and the screen is fixed to the computer thereby
preventing damages.
The fabric is plastic coated on the inside, and water proof. All seams are made with and
industrial sewing machine and extra heavy thread.
Which colours are there?
For the moment is Hacksac only available in black, (all pictures)
and dark green.
